Good morning all dull and cold here ....

My daughter called in for a couple of hours this morning, not sure if it was to see me though or for the hot chocolate topped with cream and marshmallows that I always make her! We've always got on really well together and she is like a good friend as well as a daughter.... we still have girly days out together

Good morning fellow members grim and grey again outside but I am getting used to I now which is just as well as we seem to be stuck with it.

I have been to have my hair cut (I don't do the wash and blow dry think it is too expensive) and I still look vaguely human I think

Next on the list is hanging out the washing and hoping some miracle happens and it dries

A funny day weatherwise here today. Cold and cloudy this morning, then it rained a little, then the sun came out, it's still sunny but by no means warm. We've been to our local market, friends from Dublin found us there, they arrived last night and knew we would be at the market today, so it was good to catch up over a coffee with them. They are coming to us for dinner on Friday evening so that will be nice. Now home again and I'm thinking about doing the ironing.......please note I do say "thinking" because there are lots of other things I could do, perhaps, maybe, possibly.

At long last we have sunshine........but 'er indoors doesn't want to go for a walk.

My husband has just gone out for one of his daily route marches and I will have my third walk of the day when he gets back. We never go out walking together as he walks much more quickly than I do, and gets very irritated if he has to stop to wait for me to catch up. Besides which, I enjoy my solitary walks.
