Doodles for Adults

I love relaxing with one of the adult colouring books of complicated doodles ,has anyone else tried these or thought about them for relaxation?
I have a couple now and they really are very mind calming for me and enjoyable too.
Who says kids have to have the fun of colouring lol...mind you I dont think kids would be able to do these beautiful patterns the justice they need

Yes I have been using colouring books for a while they do seem very calming. You can get lots of adult colouring books on amazon etc Patsy.

Aysa and Julie - I have looked at these in WHSmith's - but the patterns seem so 'busy' that I am not sure I would find them calming. Are there some not so intricate ones ?

Silver Tabby I SO agree!

My sister has one of these books and the designs are so incredibly intricate they make me dizzy!

I do understand the attraction for some, but not me, it would send me up the wall!

Nope just tend to doodle some of my own photographs, doubt they will be as intricate as your books.

Re: Doodles for Adults

I've never heard of this before .... it sounds fun.

I had a look and found this site.
Some of the mandala type are ... intricate and detailed .. but a few of the others like birds and flowers aren't.

Re: Doodles for Adults

They don't have to be intricate patterns I did a Victorian house with all it's rooms on separate sheets, and am now doing an architectural down the ages book with houses from the middle ages through to modern day. It's quite fun doing the fashion ones too with all the dresses from past eras that you can do any colour you wish.
