Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)

I'm amazed at the number of things that are "Sold Out" at Asda and this morning I had an email to tell me that two things I ordered would be substituted. Is Tesco like this Jac or can you usually get what you want? I'm actually waiting for an Asda delivery this evening - deep joy.

Jac - Did you see that Celyn's Michael is very poorly? I'm not sure whether you go on FBook.

It's my fault the weather has changed-my new garden recliner chair arrived yesterday! The garden badly needed the rain.
Had a go at cutting my hair this morning at least my fringe and round my ears.
Posted some Welsh cakes and tin of Laver bread to my son over the bridge this morning.Hopefully he'll be able to visit next month.
Have a good day.

A damp one here for a change
Yes Sue I did see Celyns post about Michael .Feel for them both xx
Tesco has just been and yes Sue they usually send most things and if there is a substitute its usually for a better or bigger item. You don't have to accept it .Just put shop away and delivered to next door . Even though we live so close we hardly ever see each other normally
Keep safe xx
PS On Sun there was a shark stranded in a pool on the beach. It got away ok . I didn't see it but it was near the shops I think

Did you see the Sewing Bee last night Rhosyn? I felt for Whatshsiname (I'm hopeless with names but you will know who I mean).

Very windy here and awaiting the arrival of new parasol. Hope it will be pretty windproof - that was the downfall of the old one.

Chilly out this morning.
My exciting weekly trip to Tesco this morning.Quite in the store, doesn't seem to be a shortage of anything at the moment.Put petrol in car, first time since middle of March.£1.09 a litre!
Sue-caught up with SB yesterday afternoon.Yes I felt for Matt(that's his name!) too.Liked the shoulder pad jacket challenge.
Keep safe and warm.

Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)

Lovely morning but v windy. Washing is double pegged on the line and is probably dry by now.

Rather cross because the new parasol (which was supposed to be delivered yesterday) is not now being delivered until next Tuesday. Have supported this Garden Centre for years and always been pleased with them until now. What gets up my nose is the fact I could have ordered a parasol from Amazon for half the price and it would have been delivered next day. No wonder people chose to shop with them! Ah well, it looks as though the temperature won't be high enough to sit outdoors anyway for the next few days......

Chilly out this morning but had a dry walk.
No plans today other than I might start the jigsaw at least get the edges sorted.
Sue-just as well you have to wait for your parasol,no need to find shade for the next few days.
Have a good day.
