Re: Even More Brexit Doom and Gloom

All the pessimists will be squirming, trying to find a counter argument.

What has hissed me off, is the Polish official who has put out a call for Polish in UK, to return to Poland as the economy is improving .
Now they've poached our companies over there, and used our hospitality in the meantime, the Poles are being asked to return to their homeland , probably because they don't have enough workforce.
They are also hping to be the big winner of UK banking jobs !
Funny how we can go off people.

Poland’s trade integration in the single market for goods is above the*EU*average, whereas the UK scores the lowest. You are simply not doing your best, so next year, try harder!

I've said this many times. We are the least integrated with the single market and therefore get the least benefit from it. What on earth are we paying a net fee of 11.2 billion for exactly ?

Access to 500 million people.

We get that for free with the rest of the world.

It is very good that if a car producer leaves, and leaves 1700 people without a job, another comes, and offers 500 people a job (in a few years time).
The net loss is then 1200 jobs. Correct?

They aren't actually. Germany was in recession end of 2019 by the way, COVID saved its embarrassment.

UK economy only shrunk by around 2% Q1 2020. The 27 are at the mercy of Germany - how embarrassing, begging another country to keep the dream alive

How's that EU 2020-2027 budget coming along ? Have you agreed to pay up then ?
