I do rermember those very little tins, they had a white label with dark blue writing, Nestles' cream.

Not sure I'd eat that. I take a can of whatever flavor of frosting you want and melt a bag of whatever flavor of candy chips (ie:chocolate chips) and mix it with the frosting and chill.
