Are those the same tarifs you started a thread about recently? Oh yes, 19 may, , about freezers, mirrors and scissors.

Don't worry about merkel sending you mirrors. She knows you don't like to view yourself.

This would have been a more appropriate link: https://www.gov.uk/government/news/u...-and-consumers

Hi

These are our WTO Most Favoured Nation Tariffs.

They apply to all except those we have specific Trade Deals with.

It is now a value judgement as to who has made the right decision.

The EU have not changed their Tariffs, nor have they changed their Non Tariff Barriers or rules of origin.

This is big Boys stuff, nothing you or I can change that on this Forum or anywhere else.

It is all down to Boris now and the decisions he makes.

In addition

The UK, as a wto member, is required to set its tariffs.

Hi

Free Trade was already in it's way out.

Trump, the leader of the Worlds biggest economy, was already into Protectionism.

He has made a big play of putting American jobs first.

We are in a world recession, it is everyone for them selves.
