Thinking thursday

-morning -I saw the service at 11 yesterday and the words ''God help us that we do not have to endure what they did'' still resonates with me [talking of those who fought in the great war.]

Doesn't it though and to think we sometimes complain about the little things.

Have a good day Chr1st1an.

Re: Thinking thursday

We can all appreciate what all those brave men and women went through but I fear it will mean little to the generations to come.

Re: Thinking thursday

It's turned really miserable here this afternoon, cold, pouring with rain and windy.

Roll on the summer!

Re: Thinking thursday

It was a nice morning but is now absolutely pouring.
We had a new sofa delivered this morning, so the old one is out under the veranda till the council come to collect it and take it away. (It's too decrepid for anyone to actually want it even as a gift). Bentley thinks it's a nice bit of luxury - much better than the simple garden bench he is used to lying on out there

Re: Thinking thursday

Afternoon all , I think the world may be going to end, it went dark at 2.30pm

I am up to my eyes in pickled cabbage, mincemeat and Christmas puddings so hope this is a false alarm and we are still here to eat them.

Whatever you are doing have a good day

Oh goody, . .xmas pudds, . . love em soaked in Brandy, . . that Plum-Duff I made two weeks ago is improving the longer it lays, . . it said in the recipe to leave it for a year to mature.
