Barbie's Makeover

http://uk.lifestyle.yahoo.com/barbie...170124764.html

What do you think - better or should have been left as she was?

The new Barbie reminds me a lot of the Sindy doll

Re: Barbie's Makeover

The new one does have a more realistic figure I guess.

I could never see the appeal of Barbie it is a miniature woman doll and I think dolls that look like babies are more appropriate for little girls.

Then what do I know , I was never a doll person anyway it was always animals for me.

Ooh, I loved my dolls and teddies. I had a Sindy (Barbie hadn't then been invented) and my prize doll was Tressy who had an enormous belly button that you pushed and pulled a long shank of hair out of her head to make her have long hair!

The only doll I really missed was a paper doll, hours of fun changing her outfits ....
