Favourite Egghead?

re TV program called Eggheads from UK.

I'll bet this is old news. We get the repeats so I imagine Australia is like two or three years behind.

I've come to like this show a lot. OK kevin is the smartest I know...but who would you have a beer or coffee with...enjoy a meal with?

I find CJ amusing and entertaining. interesting . the nicest guy I think is Barry though. Just a genuine fellow. Classed as a nerd by some but they are all nerds aren't they?


Don't go much on the first host. McMurtree/ the second one was better in my humble opinion.

Do you mean Dermot Murnhaghan who hosted the first series?
Jeremy Vine took over - but we are on repeats here too at the moment..so I find they are a bit jumbled
Hubby would like to have a beer with Chris - he looks a misery but I bet he's good fun

We watched Eggheads for years and only just stopped because of Dermot - he drives me crazy !!!
The best quiz on TV is 'The Chase' - fantastic host and chasers and it gets on with it, very funny at times - simply the best .....

My favourite Egghead is Barry as well, but Kevin is the more clever.

The best quiz show on UK TV though is The Chase with Bradley Walsh hosting. I love it when he goes into meltdown over a funny question/answer. For example:

I only have eyes for Judith, she is so beautiful in a tired sort of way. Lovely blue eyes and SO POSH, she oozes class.

If you compare Judith to the other female egghead, she looks to have very average intelligence. (or quiz knowledge anyway). Is quiz knowledge supremacy a turn off sexually? I mean how many women find Kevin irresistible for instance?

Is CJ gay btw?
I'm always the last to figure these things out.
