Well Hazel - given that in the Chinese Quarter in Birmingham, I've seen Fried Fish Lip on the menu - nothing surpises me any more

People do eat strange things, well strange to me, and perfectly normal to them I suppose. Fried fish lips?, thats a good one,"Will that be Fried Fish lips with Chaps Madam?"

Bloomin Norah......... Last week in supermarket 2 chinese women bought loads of friut and veg reduced for quick sale, 1 owns Chinese chip shop and uses them in the curries and the other has grocery store that sells sandwiches, but she'd missed the bread, cos I'd got the last of it ,the ducks enjoy every slice of it.Nothing wrong with reduced price stuff but when you're selling it, don't think it's fair.

I'm off to the local for a chicken and cheese roll with a bowl of tomato soup, hope I can keep it down after watching that lot.

As a vegetarian of many years I never cease to be amazed at what meat eaters will eat, just horrific to me.

I've eaten snake before now, although I did get bored trying to pick the meat off the small bones. There doesn't appear much nourishment in most of the others to make cooking them worthwhile.
