On the subject of bananas, two things spring to mind:1) why are they so difficult to 'snap' open at the top these days? (or is it just me who has to get a knife to them?
)2) did you know that monkeys peel bananas from the opposite end? Perhaps I should try that....
Edited to add: that is apparently a myth (about the monkeys)
But it seems it is the right way to peel a banana!

Every time it rains I can't help but think what a brilliant idea it is to have a Water Butt in your Loft.....A good friend agreed and he is a very intelligent person..At first I thought Funny I thought..hey Pete...whats that all about..water butt in loft..how the French live with compromises....does anybody remember Peter Cook and Dudley Moore?
