Yes Meg, that's what it is intended to do.....It comes under the disguise of a 'nature programme' but it is far more complex than that, more like 'Project Fear!'

We are being missdirected and deceived, whether this is intentional by the media and establishment, or the fact that people can not honestly see the problem.

We have nothing to fear from the climate, we must adapt, yes, but the real problem facing mankind is mankind itself.....At our present rate of progress we have become too expensive for our existence. We are taking too much from the planet, and although she has gone about it all wrong, Greta is kinda right.

Imagine a person from the nineteen fifties.....In the last seventy years everyone wants a mobile phone, Computer, TV, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, car, warm house in winter, cold house in summer, even a house in most cases!......All the things that a fifties person didn't have.

Progress is the enemy of the human race, we will comfort ourselves into oblivion, but how can we expect to ask this, or future generations to go back in time and do without these things....You want the best for your children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, but we are sending them to oblivion.

No!......Climate change is not our problem, we are!.....and the sooner that we stop pulling the wool over our eyes about climate change and face the real problems that face us...someone else will and yes, our kids will suffer....

Climate change has been rammed down our throats to blind us to what is really happening in the world....Wake up!
We are being conned into wasting our energies into trying to change something we cannot change, while being diverted from the real problem of something that we can change....
Could it possibly be that there are a lot of people making a lot of money out of progress?
And also making a lot of money from making you believe that you can prevent climate change?
Well put OGF, I used to like programmes by Attenborough, I found them interesting and educational. Saint David of Attenborough has now become a Greta Thunberg clone, ranting and complaining whilst contributing to the same problem he is whining about. I no longer watch his programmes.

Re: 7 continents 1planet

Just read this,

London, 4 November: Sir David Attenborough finds himself at the centre of another scandal over deceptive filmmaking.

Back in the spring, he was accused of deceiving viewers when he claimed, in his Netflix show Our Planet, that walruses were falling off Siberian clifftops as a result of climate change.

This was shown to be untrue by Canadian biologist and mammal expert Dr Susan Crockford, who described the abundant scientific literature, dating back many decades, showing that walruses have always taken to the land, and even fallen from clifftops. She also pointed out that the footage Attenborough used to make his case seemed to have come from a well-documented incident when walruses had been driven over cliffs by polar bears.

Yesterday, in his new BBC documentary Seven Worlds, One Planet, Attenborough again showed falling walruses, but this time making it quite clear that polar bears were driving them off the cliff. Remarkably, however, the footage he used appears to be from the same incident and shot by the same cameraman as shown in his Netflix documentary, despite the producers' claims at the time that no bears had been in the vicinity.

Re: 7 continents 1planet

I think these people are better qualified to know....
. The polar bear population is increasing according to federal affidavits submitted by Inuit groups. “Inuit have not noticed a significant decline in the health of the polar bears,” the director of wildlife management for the Nunavik Marine Region Wildlife Board wrote in a court affidavit. The affidavit claimed Nunavut residents have seen an “increase in the polar bear population and a particularly notable increase since the 1980s.” --Toronto Sun, 4 November 2019
And of course there is moving the goalposts....
Polar bears are out, and pictures of people in misery after natural disasters and choking on smog are in. The suggested shift what “journalists” should focus on when covering the so-called “climate emergency” comes from The Guardian’s picture editor Fiona Shields, who argues “we need new imagery for new narratives.” There’s one other convenient benefit: Polar bears are thriving in the changing climate, an inconvenient truth that contradicts the doom-and-gloom narrative promoted by climate alarmists. --The American Mirror, 30 October 2019
And of course there is always something from Saint Greta .....

"We are striking because we have done our homework, and they have not."
You may have done your homework Luv, but that doesn’t mean it’s correct..1/10 for effort

Of course 11,000 scientists are worried Muddy, because they will be out of a job if they don't tow the party line...

Could this possibly be a response to the fact that Donald Trump has just quit from green machine that is taking over the world.

You are so right, Climate Change has become the fastest growing industry on the planet, employing hundreds of thousands of people, with accesses to enormous amounts of money supplied free from taxpayers. Being a climatologist is like being a politician...access to lots of perks and a huge salary for which you don’t have to account for...no bugger would dare audit them for fear of being cast down as a denier

I sometimes wonder what else is going on in the world Rehab, while we are being misdirected with this climate change nonsense?

Either that, or the people will be so hyped up they will be begging the governments to do something about the population....
