Today we are having Mini Chicken Roast, which consists of two chicken breasts wrapped in bacon, with stuffing and two chipolatas, will do roast potatoes and vegetables with it.
Funny you should mention pie I just found one in the freezer and have no idea what it is. Will defrost it for tomorrow but whether it has custard with it or gravy I am not sure
It was rhubarb ! So the salad I made was very nice with a hard boiled egg and I made custard for the pie
I have often used a can of creamed mushrooms as a sauce on roast chicken, but for a casserole where you need a little more sauce, have you tried condensed mushroom soup?
That sounds a good idea, daisymay. Thanks for the tip.
Well the corned beef in onion gravy was delish last night, but as for today have no idea. My son will not be home until around 8.30 and he is having the 'bami goreng' we got in Lidl a couple of days ago, as for me? no idea.
We have just had stroganoff with a pasta similar to reginette but with the ruffle on just the one side. Tomorrow it is to lamb, but whether a long slow cooked casserole or grilled chops is yet to be decided.
