I must admit to not liking feral pigeons at all. They make a mess of buildings and are a pest in both town and city centres.
They also carry disease. Although they seem to be the mainstay diet of the Peregrine falcons that have taken up residency in our town and cities, so may be they are serving some usefulness.
I don't mind wood pigeons, although they are the size of a Lancaster bomber
and make an almighty racket when they land on the conservatory roof
