Re: One UK ticket wins EuroMillions

Good for them, that's what I say.
Of course, I'd rather it was me, but hey ho, maybe next time.

However, it's an absurd amount of money and IMHO the jackpot should be limited to say, £20 million.

Still a pretty absurd amount, but not quite so ridiculous. That way, more people will benefit in terms of winnings and it'll be more likely that this cash will be actually spent buying things than just lying somewhere, thus creating jobs.

Here's a useful website to calculate fascinating facts about such a sum of money

Good luck to them. I
think their lives will actually become meaningless , after the initial splash. It's a ludicrous amount of money for one winner .

It might be YOU!

I do know it wasn't me as I no longer do the Lottery!

Interesting to see some previous winners of the Lottery and what they are doing today:

It definitely wasn’t me

Winning that amount of money would scare me stiff .... even 1 million would.

I wouldn't mind the opportunity to find out what it was like though, even if eventually not liking what it meant I could give it all away. Well, maybe not all of it but most of it, just leaving me enough to be really comfortable.

However, as I don't even do the Lottery there's not a chance of that!

Wouldn’t scare me .
I would give most of it away and live free for financial worries for ever.
