You remind me of my younger stepdaughter, Jazzi, who has just moved house into a rented situation. It's hard at first, especially with two young children, but she has managed to get herself a nice enough place.

Yes Barry, that’s the Oct 10 date. Was in the estate agent this morning. Paid a holding fee, done the paperwork n ID, just have to complete an online form and give my references, but they need info that I don’t have with me. NI number and bank statements, so had to email the reference hub saying that part will be dealt with when I get home at the end of the week.

My flat sale can go through as quick as they like, now. But am in no rush to buy my own house. He can take a little longer, but I hope to find out on Thursday how he’s doing with his own search.

My buyer texted me this morning to say her mortgage has been approved, her solicitor has all they need and all going well her end. I just need to get my arse into gear from this weekend now, and get everything sorted. Still got more cupboards to go through.
