Don't know about your taxation laws but getting third party insurance is a must. We have an expression over here called "watch your back". In other words if someone can sue you they will.

Also accounts need to be kept (apart from appointment books) which is a necessity for annual taxation inspection. even keeping records of motoring expense- advertising- clothing/equipment let alone household costs away from the job. A tax inspector will want to know where every $ goes. Get advice on what you can claim tax relief on, you may be surprised

What about health insurance- or taking holidays need consideration you don't earn if on holiday, and save for pension, you are on your own no company pension

Having run our own business I can assure you that is the easy part , it is the "hidden" work that takes time
I have passed my kinesiology degree in 2018 and currently, am jobless. I have a basic knowledge of exercise and diet. I've been helping friends and family get in shape for years. So, I've decided to become a personal trainer. There are thousands of peoples attached with this industry, they are not all the same. Each has their own experiences which govern what they believe works and on what they focus on. Some are going to focus on athletes. Some on muscle building. Some on fat loss. am looking for the best personal trainer certificate for me. I have deeply searched online and found this article [link removed] and am more confused after reading this. i do not agree with guy. what you guys think about this article. Do you think the information is good or anybody can suggest a better way to get information? Thanks for all the help!

Re: Does anyone have the personal training certificate?

By far and away, the best way to get information on certification is to talk to managers at recreational centers, gyms, and hospitals in your local area. You might also do some research on the state level if you want to ensure that any certification is accredited, which might matter when looking for employment.

If you are wanting to be an independent contractor, as realspeed mentioned, then all the more reason you will need to consult local experts on how to proceed.

I admire you for thinking outside the box when it comes to finding employment, but since most of us are out of the US or your state, we probably have very little input that would be pertinent to your particular situation, or that you should take as gospel. Even internet articles aren't going to apply to every country, state, or community.

Get out there and good luck!
