I'm surprised that the Word "Piracy" has vanished from the accounts of this incident.If any attempt was made to harass, or harm, a crew member, take control of the vessel, or cause any sort of damage, Piracy should be the charge and it would trump the act of illegal immigration - and as it seems to have started well before the vessel arrived in UK waters.
If it was Piracy, it's to do with the ship, the owners, etc., and not the UK.
The pirates would be sent back to whence they boarded and tried in court there.
Odd the way that Piracy was all the rage when first the reports came in - and not now!
