£2000 pram

I've just read this article about Silver Cross and Aston Martin who have made a pram together for £2000 ... would you buy one?

No but I would certainly favour a proper pram over the buggies and low push/chair prams we have these days.

No one seems to use a pram these days, thank goodness, they are SO inconvenient. I believe my mother had a Silver Cross pram for us.

They may be inconvenient but they were so comfy for the baby and brought the baby up to a safer height than buggies. Were great for getting shopping too, I remember carrying a weeks shopping home with my niece sitting at the end - she loved sorting through it all on the way home

Only if I had a baby to put in it.

But you can't get a pram in a car! Prams take up far too much room in the average house. My children used buggies for their kids and had the usual indoor thingies for their comfort. I don't think my grandchildren were any the worse for not having a pram, especially as you wouldn't dream of putting a baby outside unattended in one these days.

We used one with our lot and my niece took it over for her little one , was great for walking and local shopping, the wheels/frame folded almost flat and the body made a great carry cot that meant sleepng was never a problem on the move. Holiday etc much easier as we had a travel cot really.

Re: £2000 pram

I had ordered a lovely proper pram when I was pregnant..... then I had to change the order to a bulky side by side twin pram when I received the shock news! It served its purpose though.

My daughter had a proper pram for her babies as she didn't think buggies gave the proper support.
