I have to hold up my hand Meg..I got quite a surprise when I last did my kitchen cupboard that held the spices and herbs. The amount thrown away was a disgrace all of it out of date.
Trouble is, you buy a packet to try a dish, and then the packet or jar sits there.

Yes Clacton was great thanks. I did really notice the difference in weather. The grass was all brown so its definitely much dryer but I think the East does tend to be dryer. I lived in the South until moving to Cumbria 4 years ago and this is the worst the weather has been in that time. The rain has never got to me until this year, but I do like it here.
