Happy Monday Folk.

Another photo taken on our river trip. Must finish off stripping my apple trees today, apart from the Golden Delicious which is a late apple.

Re: Happy Monday Folk.

Good morning Alan and everyone else of course.

The day is fine at the moment and everywhere looks clean, not surprised after all the rain that washed Mother earth. The Birds are really searching for food this morning and a couple of Foxes were on the bridle path looking as if they had been out searching all night.

We had a power cut yesterday following the heavy torrential rain that we had on Saturday night so we went off for the day to Silverdale. Plans for today are to catch up on a lot of correspondence so lunch will be at home followed by more paperwork in the afternoon.

Lovely Rural photo Alan and it does look peaceful.

Gathering at the water

Have a great day everyone and watch for those

Re: Happy Monday Folk.

Good morning fellow members another lovely day here.
I hope to do a bit more in the garden today, I dug up a dead Euonymus yesterday so am going to pop out and get a replacement.

I have two full days of babysitting tomorrow and Wednesday and won't get much done then so must make the best of today.

I think I will buy a little bucket for Hannah and get her picking up leaves, Eleanor did it last year... Start them working early I say

Enjoy your day everyone

Re: Happy Monday Folk.

Good morning all, lovely and sunny here this morning but with a distinct autumnal chill in the air....

Plans for today are to start hoovering the carpet edges and washing the skirtings ready for repainting, cooking chicken stir fry for lunch, walking the dogs and then picking the rest of my blackberries this afternoon....phew, I'm tired out already...

Enjoy your day folks and hey, let's watch out for one another today...

Thank you Annie I hope your Granddaughter settles in quickly to Uni life and has a lovely time, they usually do.
When my son started at Uni I dropped him there and cried all the way home, a two hour drive .

Re: Happy Monday Folk.

Good afternoon all.
A lovely day again here, we are up to 18C with a gentle breeze.
Had a bit of running around this morning, including some banking..which took the longest to do We ended up with a fish and chip lunch, which I only ever eat half of, what a waste! Our old dog loved my left overs, which he would whimper for I still miss him, after all these years
Will venture out into the garden soon, there is always something to do
Hope the rest of your day is good.

Re: Happy Monday Folk.

Good afternoon all overcast but dry here...

Went into town this morning with my daughter for some retail therapy albeit for her! I didn't buy a thing but she bought a few things for young Katie who will be going on a school camp next week to the Brecon Beacons for three days. It will be under canvas too a bit chilly at night I would think!

Bute Park in Cardiff

Enjoy the rest of the day folks!
