I think there is an EU Law that now states that mince beef be relabelled as Shredded Cow (bovine) does not contain nuts.

Although Shredded Bull (bovine) May contain nuts.

Corned beef is so expensive now - I guess that's partly because it comes from Brazil and Argentina.

But didn't it always come from those countries when it was cheap?

I blame Mad Cow disease, all the healthy cows who could afford it emigrated to South America...

Lol, it used to make up a cheap meal as it's so versatile - I love corned beef sandwiches with good bread and sliced beetroot.

Well I always understood that it was a cheap way of processing and sending meat to us in the uk during the war - bully beef ????

Now we have become wealthy and it's seen as a supposedly cheap meat, but Argentinian beef is some of the best in the world
