Downsized our paper collection recently from a tall filing cabinet and twenty box files into one small plastic filing box. It was calming, cathartic and I recommend the free feeling it gives to you.

Obviously can't find anything we need any more but the feeling lasted until the first time we thought perhaps we should have kept that piece of paper we used to have

I had a bit of a clear out yesterday when the forum was down and I quite enjoyed it. I keep all this stuff in case I need it but in reality, it just sits there doing nothing for years.

If in doubt - Chuck it out.

I have been thinking young Robert.
I find it a crying shame that your diaries should not be cherished.
I can name many, who's diaries gave us great insight.
I would cherish your diaries, as they are part of your life.
