Re: No work for two weeks

Pleased to hear your Mum is comfortable. Think you'd better do what you're told - don't want to make Mum angry!

Re: No work for two weeks

In your line of work, you deserve a holiday. I know how hard it is today, to be a nurse.
Stress levels, Having people lives in your hands.
With the cuts taking their toll on staffing. Putting more pressure on you all. Paper work needed to be done, even though the shift is over.
The government does not give you all, the credit you all deserve.
Enjoy your rest.

Re: No work for two weeks

Thanks marpaul

Yes she will be well looked after three teenage grand kids who love her to bits.

Shaz thanks also for your kind words, it really is hard compared to when I started out.

I have been asked several times if I could go back and do something else what would I do, I didn't have to think hard to answer, to care for someone and see them get better is worth is weight in gold it really is.

Kitty darlin' - you don't know the meaning of scary - my Mother (the Dragon - and she was well named)
was some fearsome woman - ask Jean on here - she will confirm it too. Dragon passed away in March this year, but when she was alive my Sisters and I daren't defy her!!!
