It is a lot easier to say if you really mean it Nom! I always think that a "Sorry" should come from the heart and not just said because you feel you have to!

I think especially in relationships - you often just get one person saying it - and it is not always the person that should be apologising! So not always good to say sorry - it can just be a gesture of submission.

A genuine apology - where it is appropriate and sincerely meant - is very healing for any situation - eg work, personal, school etc. I remember one time, a teacher apologising to the class for something - (too far back to remember what) and it was very effective and taught all us pupils a lesson in humility.
