The Natural World

Did anyone see this smashing programme on BBC 2 last night about the Owls. So interesting, and I loved every minute of it. Brilliant filming of these fascinating birds, and the people were so very good with them.

Think I've seen pretty much all of the Natural World series - they go back many years - wildlife is so interesting, never get bored with the subject and yes I saw it - fab !

I didn't see it Mups, but it sounds great. I was gobsmacked the other day when someone at work said her daughter absolutely loves owls - it was her birthday and she managed to get someone from a nature park to bring some owls to the house for her birthday. They were rescue owls. Absolutely beautiful. The pics were fantastic. What a different birthday present!

I have only one rather nice picture of my with a great owl sitting on my arm, a spectacular specimen indeed (and the owl).

(sorry, couldn't resist that, in a bit of a silly mood, I must need feeding).

I saw it Mups, it was lovely, I like the way the owls start off really not very attractive, then really cute, then beautiful!

I watched it too Mups, loved seeing the little ones hatch even though they didn't look anything like the graceful owls they grow up to be

That couple seemed so kind knowledgeable, and it was refreshing to see creatures being well cared for, for a change, after all the animal cruelty we so often hear about.
I admired their dedication and patience.

It was very good, but then any wildlife prog the Beeb make is always very good, if not excellent.
