The Nightmare Worlds of H G Wells

Anyone else planning to watch this? It's on at 9.00 tonight on Sky Arts. It clashes with Death in Paradise so I'll be recording one or other of them.

Could be good - it's got Ray Winstone and Michael Gambon in it.

You're probably right to save money and not have Sky - most of it is endless repeats, but there are enough good things on the Atlantic and Arts channels to make me keep up the subscription.

Re: The Nightmare Worlds of H G Wells

Thanks for the tip Janet, I like H.G. Wells works, four stories and two fine actors in Ray Winstone and Michael Gambon, I like to follow what Michael Gambon is working on, he was born not far from me here in Dublin, then when he was a very small lad the whole family moved to the UK in the late 1940’s, his dad was an engineer and worked on the rebuilding of London’s bombed sites.
I’ll record it and watch it come the weekend.

That's interesting - I didn't know he was originally from Dublin.

Funnily enough, H G Wells was born in my home town of Bromley, so I've always taken an interest in his work. Interesting man, too.

Enjoyed the first one but the sound was dreadful on the second one. Couldn't understand a word the woman said!
