Well I probably would if she popped round for a chat & I hadn't eaten them all, but I have eaten them all after lunch, they were my dessert.

Yes, that too, but it does tend to get stuck in my teeth.

Re: Dealing With People Who Push Your Buttons

There are good buttons too, although having some of those buttons pushed seems to be a thing of the past. Other good buttons that can be pushed have taken over.

Bad button pushers? Best avoided whenever possible.

Pauline they often do ....

This Be The Verse

They f**k you up, your mum and dad.
They may not mean to, but they do.
They fill you with the faults they had
And add some extra, just for you.

But they were f****d up in their turn
By fools in old-style hats and coats,
Who half the time were soppy-stern
And half at one another's throats.

Man hands on misery to man.
It deepens like a coastal shelf.
Get out as early as you can,
And don't have any kids yourself.

Yep. Left as early as I legally could.

Once you've got the handle on that, confront the person responsible and ask why they like to wind you up. If there's no answer to be had, they at least know that you know and it probably wouldn't happen again.
If it does, turn into a rottweiler (puppy)
Turn into a Rottweiler?
I’m probably more pit bull but ok thanks.
You’re my kind of women.

I’m talking about anyone but to be fair I’m an equal part of the problem. Like others have said I allow others to get to me so add power and energy into the exchange. I need to learn earlier to let go by asking myself why I’m even engaging in communication that’s not kind or respectful.

Thanks all the same.

It's understanding the button pushing,in the first place.

It can be very deep rooted....at least you know your buttons are being pushed...so that has to be a positive start.

For some people, including myself..button pushing can teach you a lot....family are the most difficult to overcome....most of us have wounds that need healing...

It's called "life"
Find the source.
Thank you. That very perceptive.
Stuff can be deep rooted for me and I have to remember that it can be so for other people also. We can’t change others how we’d like them to be but we CAN change ourselves.
