Why not ditch your lightbulbs and use plastic bottles and bleach?

What a fabulous idea! It sounds as though he didn't patent it so he might be losing out on that front but, to have brought light to so many people, not mention the hydroponic angle, he should feel very proud of himself

I saw that years ago, but I don't see any houses round here with bottles sticking out their roofs.
