The World's Most Liveable Cities

According to the respected English journal The Economist Melbourne is the world's most liveable city (Hiss... Boo...).

The top 10 cities are:

1. Melbourne, Australia
2. Vienna, Austria
3. Vancouver, Canada
4. Toronto, Canada
5. Calgary, Canada
6. Adelaide, Australia
7. Sydney, Australia
8. Helsinki, Finland
9. Perth, Australia
10. Auckland, New Zealand

Who let Vienna and Helsinki in there?

I'd choose Austria too - beautiful country but hideously expensive.

Re: The World's Most Liveable Cities

Germany for me as I've lived there before and, because I was in their country I wasn't arrogant enough to expect them to speak my language, so I learned theirs.

However, the subject was cities, not countries, so I'd plump for Berlin as that was the last place I lived in Germany.
