I learned to drive in London so theres not a lot that scares me but the Paris ring road is an exception,, cars join at 80mph across four lanes and exit again 200yrds further up the criss crossing at speed with only the horn as indicator of movement, direction change and annoyance is mindboggeling.
Got to agree the Rue de Périphérie is one really scary experience.
oh well perhaps i shouldn't be such a baby and what is in fact happening is that britain is becoming more international in terms of driving standards.
in the end all you can do is take it easy, maintain good braking distances and be alert, anybody remember the CAT code - Concentrate, Tolerate and Anticipate?
