Think you're right about the parasol Rhosyn, it's horrible here, rain and wind. Have just made a load of lemon curd for my carers. They've been so good about coming in for Rob.

Jac - I see Michael has gone into hospital. Celyn must be devastated and so strange to be in the house on her own, apart from the animals of course.

My daughter called yesterday and she has been saying she is going to leave her red colour in her hair grow out and let the grey come through .Joe decided to help her by giving her a haircut . She has got about an inch of hair all over !!.Didn't know what to say except "oh well it will grow " !!
Keep safe !!

I do feel for Celyn. The difference in being in the house on your own (waiting for news) and having at least two nurses looking after Michael must be immense. I do hope she takes the opportunity to rest though. I didn't realise how tired I was until I got full care for Rob.

Glugging water atm. Found some ribs in the freezer which Rob liked but I found rather on the warm side.

Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)

Rob's new parasol arrived this afternoon and the delivery driver (who had been in school with Rob) helped me put it up - good job he did, it was quite a performance. Then an hour later the Asda order arrived. Some clot had packed a container of milk on its side at the bottom of a bag and it leaked all over everything. Amazing how far a drop of milk can spread.

Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)

The parasol is under its cover and likely to stay there for a while! Not raining here yet, but the forecast is pretty dire for later.

Jac, I've only just noticed your news about becoming a great great grandma! That's quite something, there can't be many of those around.

Casserole of meatballs and tomato sauce with spice in the oven, and more jigsaw. I'm getting lazier and lazier......
