Nice photo - I think it's a good old British ladybird too. Not one of those 'Harlequin' types.

I am the same Mags ,haven"t seen one for quite a while ,wonder why that is ?
Used to see them all the time .

They like my washing when it's hung on the line.

Although not as many this year, they are around here, but more of the darker coloured ones (no idea the name of them).
