There is no empirical evidence either way:It is important to view the results of research studies in the context of the limitations of the literature in the area, including recall bias. For example, people who have a tumour diagnosis may be more likely to over-estimate the time they spent of the phone than those without a tumour, sample sizes were generally small as brain cancer is relatively rare and the duration of phone use is limited to the number of years mobile phones have been widely used. Other considerations to keep in mind are that an increase in incidence of brain tumours over time, which would be expected if mobiles phones were linked to brain cancer, has not been demonstrated and the mechanisms by which mobiles phone may be able to cause tumour growth are currently still being debated.
You would expect to see an increased level of cancer among people like me who worked in microwave radio transmission for example or even the power industry yet (with the exception of Asbestos related diseases) there is no evidence at all.

I asked my Neurosurgeon about mobile phones and cancer,this is while he was talking on his in his office,he laughed,just laughed,if its a problem he would know?Like Bruce says above,he worked with this technology,probably a thousand times stronger? and minimal effect on his health,I think they are looking for grant money,your taxes,Gov'mints like giving your taxes away,its a big hobby of theirs,like the man who i met who recieved a grant to study Emu's,i spoke to him,he applied for a second grant and was asked to submit his results from the first grant,he recieved the second grant? I saw his report that he submitted,he said Emu's are just like big chickens? really that is where taxpayer money went,to find out that Emu's are like big chickens!
