I used to pre-record live programmes so I could skip past the adverts.
Unfortunately, now we don't watch any live TV (no licence) I'm afraid we can't do that and, of course, can't skip through the adverts either.

So either I go to make a cup of tea or go for a pee.

I watch it live JB but still record it for Mrs Fox who always falls asleep in the evenings.
I tend not to watch stuff in the day, and most of the recordings are deleted after Mrs Fox has seen them. It's that rubbish on telly these days that after the street I come on here for the rest of the night with the telly turned down as background. Sometimes something comes on and attracts my attention, so I'll watch it. A good outdoorsy programme, a documentary, or portrait artist of the year usually gets my attention.....

I don't mind the odd advert, but the same ones appear time after time.....I generally love Welsh singers and when we visit Llandudno in North Wales we never miss an opportunity to go and see a Choir.....But it's time go compare got a new advert!....

I just feel that Nessun Dorma has been done to death. Probably started off by the Three Tenors, then everyone wanted a go. Hey look, everybody...I can sing in Italian! Aren’t I the clever one? No, just think of another song, please.
