"What's the time, Mr Wolf"?

My young granddaughter came home from school yesterday, having just played this game at school and it got me wondering .....

I can't remember the last time I wore a wristwatch. Even when I was working, it was in school and the regular school bell kept us up-to-date with the time of day.

Do you've still wear a watch or, like me, do you just refer to your mobile phone when you are out and about?

Definitely phone for me LT

In fact I don't think I even own a watch now
My sons and daughter have ones that they wear to dress up an outfit but they don't wear them day to day

Same here Rhian, I've not worn a watch for years now. I always have my phone in my pocket so use that or the car clock as I spend a lot of time behind the wheel..

Watches every time for me. I have a phone but wouldn't take it out just to tell the time. As a rule I don't take my phone out of my pocket when outside as there is less risk of dropping it. I'm generally using it to play music. Any calls can wait 'til I get home.

Many are different, though, and use their phones.

Same here. I have a large time controlled watch.

Same for me.
My phone is often buried in my handbag.

It's easier looking at your wrist compared with taking a phone out of your pocket.

I very rarely wear my watch but the last time I decided to, I found that the battery had run out and it will cost £40 -£50 to replace.

It can stay in it's box for now.

The battery should be a £4 job.
