poor tobi

This is poor Tobi ...he going to see vet tomorrow ...he's got Kennel cough...He caught it from my sons new puppy.....He's only been to the vets once in 8 years except for his jabs ...good job he's is insured....

Aah poor Toby, he's looking sorry for himself, hope he gets better soon. I've had a dog with kennel cough, many years ago. Actually I've heard there's a lot around at the moment. A couple of local dogs have had it recently including the dog next door!!

Poor Tobi I hope he recovers really soon. Mine have the kennel cough vaccination as they have been in kennels. Its not a jab its a liquid they pour down the nose. May be worth considering if he is going to be exposed again.

Hi Steve Kennel Cough is not usually a problem for fit adult dogs. I hope Tobi is better soon.

One thing he may appreciate is a little honey and water to drink (only half a teaspoon melted in warm water ) this is very soothing for a throat which can get sore with coughing.

Thanks folks ...We just been to the vets....he has got inflammation of the windpipe which is associated with Kennel cough as kennel cough is a common name for several different conditions.....we got a 7 day course of antibiotics for that We also have course of treatment for lung worm just as a precaution as our garden is overrun by snails at the moment...so hopefully he will get better .....more to say for my wallet ..lol....just joking he aint cost much since we had him .....
