Re: Rip Archie :(

No he was still in moult so not being flown. He ate his food then hopped off his block he sits on and just sort of lay down. We were up and I went to check all the animals and he was looking odd so I picked him up in a towel and he was gone in less than 15 minutes I do have an idea that he may well have had a rather nasty condition that Peregrines can get but until the autopsy is done I wont know anything. He has done 1 or 2 odd things over the past week but nothing that suggested he was unwell in any way.. I can see the clues now but I didnt at the time. Two of the important things to be aware of with your birds is how they are actually looking.. he was erect in good health and at a good weight. The other thing is their mutes (poo), his was normal in colour amount and generally. I will let you know if anything is found when I hear back.. im not sure when it'll be. Im just very upset about loosing the little fella, we've had lots of fun flying him and he was a great character.
Thanks all for the nice comments x
