THat is very true. Maybe some of those millions of police can come and help fight the fires though?..AS IF! SCOMO'S holiday has been the subject of intense discussion here. For me the jury is still out. One side is what can he really do?..get on a hose?..Fly a chopper water bomber? Well you have to be trained and qualified before you do that. ONe of previous PMs..Abbott..used to do it but he is a trained regular and has been for years. Other side is he should be here to provide support and inspiration etc. Maybe but I don't think it's going to make a hell of a lot of difference if he's here or not. Jacinda!..we need you here!..can we borrow you for a while??
