fitting gear into bag

Some time ago i bought a manfrotto roller camera bag but up to now never bothered to kit it out. So this evening I had a go and this is the result.

Looks easy but that velcro is a sod plus giving more cushoning underneath The demo photo layout is ok if you have that gear which I don't, so had to do my own.

So in it I have got the Nikon D810 camera with a 50mm lens
Panasonic camcorder
Nikon 24-70mm and 70-200mm lenses
A nikon SB900 flash gun
Duel battery charger
tabletop tripod
various batteries.

The big problem was getting a bag for the 2 larger lenses

Managed to get the photo above like this

using a manfrotto o55xprob tripod with the arm extended sideways
then a manfrotto pistol head and a CN-160 LED light.

All taken with a nikon D300 and a 12-24mm wide angle lens.

Re: fitting gear into bag

A suitcase for a happy snap hobby? Madness.

I never have any trouble packing my camera bag and it fits on my belt. There is even room for the spare battery.
