Boris should tell them that if there is no possibility of a deal by the end of the year, the talks are off and no more payments to them.

We have already learnt that when they are faced with a firm hand they back down and stop demanding. Traitor May was too weak to play on this, of course.

If Boris takes a hard line and waves goodbye to them once and for all, they'll come scuttling back almost immediately with a changed attitude.

If they don't want to trade with us, off we go and trade with everyone else.
Hi

Firstly, we are the ones who asked for a Transition Period, not the EU.

Secondly, Boris is promising to pay them irrespective of any Trade Deal.

That is what is in the Withdrawal Bill which has just been passed by a huge majority in the House of Commons.

Thirdly, who has shown them a firm hand?

It is certainly not Boris, he made a huge concession to the EU over Northern Ireland, something which May refused to do.

Lastly, we already trade with the rest of the World, so the only thing that will change as regards Non Service Trade will be Tariffs, Quotas and Non Tariff Barriers.

Boris has said we are leaving both the Single Market and the Customs Union at the end of this year.

Things will change when we do, how they will change we will have to wait and see.
