I don't think it has ever happened to me, apart perhaps from a stubborn double glazing rep who insisted on dragging the quote out for as long as possible, then he got the hump when I told him to leave.Re: Did you have a trick for getting rid of invited or uninvited visitors?
I've got things to do, phone calls to make, lawns to mow yada yada. IT's been great to see you but I need you to go now. HOnest, civil, to the point but very clear. If they ignore that just start doing what you need to do and leave them sitting there. If that doesn't work then it's time to make reference to urination and negative power polarity.Re: Did you have a trick for getting rid of invited or uninvited visitors?
Have some stale biscuits in stock and offer them some tepid tea. I wouldn't do this myself but if anyone did this to me if I visit them I'd be leaving sharpish. Or show them your holiday snaps. Or tell them your health problems. Most people like to talk about themselves so if you start telling them your own ailments they will make an excuse and leave. Or even offer to show them your ailments.
