Loretta you really are quite wicked posting pictures like these when in Blighty we have easterly winds and minus temperatures...Brrrrr....

As for the ball thingy, could be a small coconut or a large chestnut I guess.......

Sorry about your cold weather all, but honestly it has been really lovely here today. Those ball things, well I'm not quite sure what they are exactly, something to do with seaweed I think, they are sort of like hair balls when broken open. There are lots of them in and around the seaweed.

I suppose it could be Skeggy if the sand was more muddy, the sea was grey and there were a few Olive trees and Palm trees around, haha.

I nearly didnt open this thinking I didnt want to look at more bracing seascapes as I live right by one myself and its been bitter today.. then I remembered you are in warmer climes and all I feel now is jealousy!!!!
