Thank you The Dales and Lakes are a favourite of ours though they are a three hour drive from where we live ...
Shropshire too is a very pretty county but it's funny you don't appreciate what is on your doorstep and we very rarely go touring around our own county though there is not a lot of it we haven't seen...

I find that the least traveled road can be a treasure trove of wonders. A dirt path is my favorite.

My husband can't walk far he just about makes from Derwent lakeside to Friars Crag and back thats why I enjoy my dog so much as we can get out and walk together we usually get dropped off go for a walk and then hubby picks us up a little later...I am having a look now at your link Ab thanks...

Those are stunning AB especially liked the one of Derwent/Skiddaw the lighting is stunning thanks for showing...
