Morning all. Woke to sunshine(!), had a heavy shower and now it's bright again.The council is coming to pick up the ages sofa, so we had to evict the cat from his new favourite spot under the veranda and manhandle it (the sofa not the cat) out to the roadside for collection.
Here's hoping for even a small dose of sun today. It's growing cooler - I think we'll be firing up the logburner by weekend

Good Morning all, it's going to be a busy day cooking and baking for tomorrow. My daughter and son in law are having a big crowd and Peggy just got over h1n1 and she's been busy with her daughter's wedding no end so I am helping more than usual, in fact we all are. She can sit and rest for a change. I'll pop in here when I get a chance.Can't tell if the sun is out because it's still dark
