Another so called Socialist country where the leaders live like kings while the people starve to death. Thats why this month alone over 5000 Cubans have left their country a top of raggedy vessels to our shore of Miami risking their lives for liberty and freedom.

A perfect system does not exist. So in the imperfection of it all I'll go with capitalism where no one controls me and I have the liberty to decide where, what and how I invest my money
What you have here is a germ of an idea taking shape. The idea isn't fully formed yet and I will come back to it at a later date. I find it is best to get these ideas down so that I can refer to them at a later date. As for capitalism becoming defunct entirely no that will not happen but it might well evolve into something else in time. It appears religion can completely rule daily life so with this in mind maybe capitalism could also do the same under a different guise - money making with a conscience .

Food for thought maybe?

IMO, greed/corruption fairly quickly overtakes any worthwhile project.

As they say 'rubbish rises to the top'.

Maybe the solution is to change the system every few years and hope to stay one step ahead.
More or less how things have been for quite some time. Overall though progress is made so maybe how things are is how things are for the best? Doesn't make for happy onlookers though.

No matter the system, where man is involved, there shall be greed and corruption. Unless you do away with man, this fact shall never change, if you do away with man, it won't make any difference.
