Hi

It is not just the Germans, they are all at it.

Before Stadco closed they were producing heat shields for catalytic converters, costing the various manufacturers less than £1 each.

The price of them as a spare was many times that.

Changing some bulbs on the new Jaguars is a very costly business, the computer has to be reset.

I reckon it will get even worse when every car is all electric and every vital part will be controlled by integrated microprocessors.

The only common thing about European cars are over priced cars, exorbitant spare part prices and atrocious or non existent after sales service.

I agree with you there Brucy! Asian cars are just as good
(or bad?) as european cars, and are becoming the car of
choice in Africa, due mainly to the large price difference and
equal quality!

Yes ,front wheel drive is not the best on dirt Brucy!
But landcruisers make good gunships!
Probably due to the weight??
