He did not attend the remembrance service at the Albert Hall, to which I believe this thread is referring - he was conspicuous by his absence - the disrespectful scroat!!!! He went up to Yorkshire - I would imagine he was as useful as a chocolate teapot.

Didn’t worry that scruffy beggar Boris who looked like his new lady is unacquainted with an iron.

Got to say that Duchess Kate looked ,as nearly always perfect .
What a beautiful coat she wore very appropriate with its touch of military frogging .

I suppose it's a case of what you see is what you get. Not like two-faced Corbyn who changes his appearance, chameleon like to suit his audience. He's got a nerve showing his face there IMO.

Anyway, enough of the politicking. A day for reflection and remembrance.

Re: Rememberance Service

Watching songs of praise now it’s an especially poignant one for the day and is being presented by the lovely Katherine Jenkins.
That old Chelsea pensioner Collin Thackeray will be singing .

If you haven't seen this, please watch this great man's memories of serving in the forces and the new memorial he has been so instrumental in making happen.
What an icon of a man having been serving your country since he first landed on the beach more than 75 years ago! It is incredible and fortunate for all of us that he his memory is sharp and his eloquent voice for "The Boys" remains strong. Precious living history, he is.
