I'm an author and an artist. Once upon a time I was in training to be a counselor, but tragedy took the life out of that goal. I live in a rural, mountainous setting. My husband and I gave up our jobs, took a risk and moved to the boonies to write full time. Now I write books and paint my own cover art, and he is doing a study on wild turkeys. We have deer and wild turkeys that eat out of our hands. Many of these wild critters consider our place their sanctuary. It's just so cool.
As Joseph Campbell the myth guy says, we followed our bliss. We didn't even starve. Cool. Huh?
Thatís VERY cool. A writer and a painter.
What type of books to you write and what type of medium do you paint with?
Wild turkeys are certainly fascinating birds. We have a lot of them around our area as well as deer. It sounds like a blissful lifestyle.

Thanks, Wild Blueberry and Bratti.
I paint with acrylic on canvas, and I write literary fiction. I have also written a couple of narrative nonfiction books. Yes, it is a peaceful place to be, away from the disruptions of the city.
