Fire in Cumbria kills horses and dog

How can anyone be so heartless as to fire a barn with living creatures inside .
It doesn't bear thinking about .
The owners family is heart broken they included her children's ponies .
This is however the second incident of barn burning that I have heard of within two weeks .
The first was local to me and followed a threats from travellers who wanted to buy a field ( at their price ) the owner refused and they said they would burn it and they did plus a caravan on the property .Fortunately no livestock wes inside .
However the police advised the man to 'change his lifestyle '
When asked what they meant they said well you have ducks and chickens .........

Fooking outrageous. Empathy only works one way with some people.

You wonder what is wrong with someone who does something like this and there will be a myriad of excuses given as too why..non of which would satisfy me.

I won’t read the story as I find this kind of news too distressing. How can people be so cruel?

Same here Jazzi, I just hope they catch them and take them off the street, for good....But that won't happen, our legal system is just too soft.

Why punish totally innocent animals? They must have been utterly terrified when they saw the fire getting closer, and they couldn't escape.

What evil pigs some people are.

Wicked .Sadly some people seem to enjoy seeing animals suffer.I just wish the same could be done to them
